Gene Kelly

After Fred Astaire, the next logical male dancer to mention is Gene Kelly.   Of the two, he's my personal favorite - Fred was just a little too elegant for my taste.   I loved the way Gene grabbed the music by the scruff of its neck. You could feel the joy bubbling over in his upbeat numbers!

And of course, Kelly wasn't just a dancer - he could sing, act,choreograph, and produce and direct great movies.
